Wij bieden performance parts aan voor veel verschillende motortypes. Alles van de 1.3 MultiJet tot bijvoorbeeld de 2.4 JTD, daarnaast bieden wij ook dieverse tuningdelen aan voor TBi en MultiAir motoren.
Bij wat meer gecompliceerde delen leveren wij handleidingen, u kunt er voor kiezen om deze op papier te ontvangen, of om ze digitaal te ontvangen via een door ons speciaal ontworpen platform.

Stock airbox panel filter test results!![]()

This time we did not test the open cone filter, but compared 3 panel filters inside the factory airbox. We tested stock, Sprint and BMC panel filters.![]()
Before announcing the test winner, it can be said that all 3 filters are very similair in performance, the difference is too small to be noticed in driving. Presented are the temperature gains, pressure drop and density difference. For all these 3 factors, the lower, the better.![]()
And ofcourse we also did the power and torque readings with the Performance Logger.![]()

But, the difference is really very small compared to the BMC, with only 0.3% difference in density loss. The stock paper element actually has a slightly higher pressure drop compared to both performance filters.![]()

Looking at the filtering medium, the Sprint has a single layer synthetic fibre, while the BMC has several layers of cotton gauze. We haven't done any tests to check the filtering efficiency, but it seems logical that tiny particles will be trapped much better in a multilayer medium that the BMC has. Are these differences in performance worth the sacrifice of less filtered air into your turbo and engine? That's up to you to decide.
